Infrastructure Inspection
High-resolution and thermal inspection of bridges, towers, chimneys, solar farms and transmission lines - defects located, measured and tracked on a 3D model of the asset.
- Detail resolution
- Sub-millimetre
- Thermal sensitivity
- < 0.05 C
- Standoff
- 2-15 m
- Defect tracking
- Georeferenced, versioned
What it is
Close visual inspection without scaffolding, rope access or shutdown
Traditional close visual inspection means scaffolding, rope access teams, cherry pickers and often a shutdown. A drone puts a 45-megapixel sensor two metres from the defect in minutes, with nobody at height and usually no interruption to operations.
We do not just hand over photographs. Every frame is positioned on a 3D model of the asset, so a crack is not "somewhere on the north face" - it has coordinates, a measured length and width, a severity classification and a permanent record that the next inspection compares against.
Thermal inspection runs alongside the visual pass where it earns its place: delamination in concrete, moisture ingress in roofing and cladding, hot joints in switchgear, and dead cells and string faults across solar arrays that are invisible in RGB.
What you receive
- Georeferenced defect register with severity classification
- High-resolution imagery indexed to asset location
- Radiometric thermal imagery and anomaly list
- 3D model of the asset with defects pinned
- Comparison against previous inspection cycles
- Inspection report formatted to your asset management standard
Indicative from
₹25,000per structure
Single-structure visual inspection with defect register. Thermal and confined-space work quoted separately.
How we deliver it
Our infrastructure inspection workflow
Each step exists because skipping it shows up later as an error somebody else has to find.
Asset and risk review
Drawings, previous reports and access constraints reviewed; a flight plan and risk assessment produced for the specific structure.
Overview capture
A photogrammetric pass builds the base 3D model that every close-up will later be indexed to.
Close-up sweep
Systematic short-standoff capture at the resolution your defect threshold requires, with overlap so nothing is missed.
Defect identification
Trained reviewers mark, measure and classify defects; findings are pinned to the model with coordinates.
Reporting
Prioritised register issued in your format, with critical findings flagged the same day.
Where it is used
Typical applications
- Bridge, flyover and viaduct condition survey
- Telecom tower and transmission line inspection
- Solar farm thermal fault detection
- Chimney, cooling tower and stack inspection
- Roof, facade and cladding survey
- Post-event damage assessment after flood, storm or fire
Industries served
Sectors that commission this
Usually not. Most inspections are flown with the asset live. Energised electrical assets and confined areas need a specific risk assessment and sometimes a de-energised window, which we plan with your operations team.
